A refined exploration of structure, colour and dimensional presence
Presented at MIDO 2026, Spectaful’s latest optical models represent a clear step forward in the brand’s ongoing exploration of form and material. These new designs bring greater dimensional definition and a more considered use of colour, while maintaining the clarity that has long defined Spectaful’s identity.
Crafted with advanced polymer fronts and acetate temples, the frames are shaped with carefully calibrated thickness and precise milling that defines contour and depth without creating visual heaviness. Edges are carefully refined, allowing each piece to achieve presence through proportion rather than excess. The relationship between front and temple is central to the design, generating contrast and rhythm while preserving coherence.
Form remains at the heart of the range. Rounded silhouettes, squared constructions, softer oval lines and irregular outlines coexist within a coherent architectural vocabulary. Each profile forms part of a coherent whole rather than standing as an isolated gesture. Proportions are studied to ensure wearability, while volumes are shaped to frame the face with definition and ease.
The rounded women’s model OBSIDIAN conveys compact volume and sculptural balance. Its circular silhouette gains intensity through front colours such as black, fuchsia and petrol green, paired with contrasting acetate temples in light blue, pink, variegated green or lilac marbled finishes. The interplay sharpens the outline while adding graphic nuance and visual depth.
Also defined by a rounded profile, the unisex FLARE approaches proportion with a more dynamic rhythm. Front tones including black, bordeaux, grey and petrol green are set against temple variations ranging from crystal black to acid green, allowing the frame to move between understated refinement and expressive contrast with ease. The dialogue between darker fronts and brighter temple accents enhances the sense of movement within the silhouette.
In the men’s LILIUM, a squared construction introduces sharper geometry and a more assertive presence. Front options in black, green bordeaux and midnight blue are complemented by temple choices extending from restrained black and midnight blue to acid green, variegated green and Havana. The model expresses linear precision while maintaining visual balance across colour combinations.
Developed for women, LYRA adopts an oval silhouette that tempers definition with refinement. Fronts in black, red, bordeaux and violet are balanced by temple options such as black and white, ice white, opaline pink and lilac marbled. This measured contrast enhances the frame’s dimensional quality and gives it a contemporary elegance that remains effortless to wear.
Completing the new models, ZEPHYR explores an irregular outline within a composed and disciplined construction. Offered in black, fuchsia, ottanio and violet fronts, it is paired with temple combinations including black and white, ice white, lilac marbled and brown violet. The asymmetry lends the frame a distinctive graphic identity while preserving visual harmony.
