Come As You Are is the claim of the new 2023 campaign

KOMONO – the brand deeply rooted in the Antwerp fashion scene and internationally renowned for its unique and radical vision – participated again this year at MIDO, the most important trade fair dedicated to the eyewear sector, presenting its new 2023 campaign.

KOMONO’s 2023 theme is a continuation of the Come As You Are campaign. The collection invites everyone to come as they are, to show and share their truest selves with the world around them. More than ever, KOMONO hopes to be part of how people choose to express themselves. Whether they are more attracted to their bold & outspoken creations or feel more comfortable with an understated option, there is a KOMONO that feels just right for them.

From new colours, for your frame or your lenses, KOMONO’s newest collection explores all kinds of classic and out there silhouettes. Most notably the Neo’s sporty shape, a classic oversized Otis, or their newest range of colours such as black laser and black sunshine, all to elevate its look.

This campaign is as bold, funny, diverse, poetic, and provocative as the individuals who shine in it. They generously share their personality, backgrounds, and stories to inspire others to step out into the world, proud to be who they are.

Notably, the 4 focus points of the new KOMONO collection that were also presented at MIDO are: Niki, Poly, Ellis and Neo.


Niki is an up-to-date version of one of the company’s bestsellers, Shaun, which has been updated with a slight adjustment on the sizing, making it a bigger to ensure comfort in wear. With its CR39 lenses set in an eco-acetate frame, this style is an elegant and lightweight pair of sunglasses, ideal for any outfit. Niki was presented at MIDO in the colour Tiger but comes in Black as well as in Rust – a new KOMONO colour this season.


Unconventional and different, Poly, available in Matrix colour, is the perfect match for those looking for something special. A stand-out piece that will certainly turn heads.


Ellis has a quite unique shape, characterised by the combination of round shaped lenses with a butterfly frame. KOMONO loves experimenting with new shapes and styles, offering a very subtle yet unique look. Ellis has a very versatile shape and fits different face shapes. For MIDO it was presented in the Metal colour.


Neo is a futuristic wrap frame, with cat-eye lenses. The frame is entirely made from bioplastic and has scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses. A trend spotted on the catwalk during fashion week, so don’t miss out on making this look yours! It is available in Red SandsCarbon and Matrix.
