OGI INTRODUCES FALL 2026: METALS FOR THE MODERN WEARER

For decades, acetate has been the canvas for self-expression, while metal has largely been defined by engineering and restraint. OGI believes that true style doesn’t have to choose between creativity and clarity.

The Fall 2026 collection explores a new direction for metals — one where thoughtful color, architectural construction, and meticulous craftsmanship work together to create frames that feel as emotive as they are refined.

“We didn’t set out to simply make metal more colorful. We wanted to give it the same emotional resonance we’ve always brought to acetate, to make precision feel more personal, expressive and human,” says David Duralde, Designer and chief Creative Officer of The Optical Foundry.

The collection introduces crisp silver finishes paired with hand-painted color accents that bring warmth and personality to every frame. Precision-milled flat metal construction creates bold graphic silhouettes that allow light, shadow, and proportion to become part of the nuanced and resonant designs.

Arrowhead, Tamarack, and Timberline offer a glimpse into this broader style story — a collection built around fresh color palettes, intentional surface detailing, and the belief that technical craftsmanship and expressive design aren’t contradictory, but complementary.

For OGI, color has never been decoration. It’s always been about personality. This season extends that philosophy into metal, a material ready for its moment of expression and levity.

As a design house and member of the Optical Foundry, the guiding philosophy of this, and every collection, is to present independent optical practices with designs that evolve with their patients’ styles, never following trends at the expense of individuality. Fall 2026 aims to continue the conversation of what unique design and one-of-a-kind construction can do for opticians and their patients.
