Transitions® will bring its Light in Motion Tour to Canada this fall, introducing an evening-based educational experience designed for optical professionals to explore the science of light and the latest advancements in lens technology.
Centered around the idea that light is always changing—and lenses should too, the Light in Motion Tour offers attendees the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Transitions® technology and its role in everyday vision. Through a combination of live demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on exploration, the experience is designed to equip eyecare professionals with practical tools to support patient conversations and recommendations.
The Light in Motion Tour will visit multiple Canadian cities, with confirmed stops including:
- September 21, 2026 — Vancouver (Fairmont Hotel)
- September 29, 2026 — Toronto, Globe and Mail Centre
- October 6, 2026 — Montréal, Espaces Waverly
During the event, attendees will discover the science behind Transitions® light intelligent lenses™ and how they dynamically adapt to changing light conditions, gain a deeper understanding of light modulation and its impact on visual comfort and performance, explore how Transitions® technology supports wearables through partnerships with leading smart glasses brands, and experience the latest innovations, including the all-new Transitions® Color Touch™, featuring five colors and two subtle effects
The evening will also include networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with peers and engage directly with the Transitions® team in a more informal setting. As part of the experience, participants will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win Ray-Ban Meta or Oakley Meta AI glasses equipped with Transitions® lenses.
