At the core of Stellest Pro is the Stellest lens, which incorporates HALT technology. According to Essilor, clinical studies have demonstrated that Stellest lenses slow myopia progression by an average of 67 percent when worn for at least 12 hours per day, compared to single vision lenses.

The HALT technology works by using 1,021 slightly aspherical lenslets distributed across 11 rings on the lens surface. These lenslets create a volume of signal that acts as a shield in front of the retina, which research suggests helps slow the elongation of the eyeball that characterizes myopia progression. The central zone of the lens remains free of lenslets, ensuring that wearers experience clear, uncompromised vision for daily activities.
